 2 days desert tour from Fes to Merzouga itinerary  

Day 1: Fes – Ifrane - Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi Dunes

We'll begin our 2 days Fes desert tour from Fes to Merzouga by picking you up from your Fes accommodation and depart towards the south of Morocco.

You will stop in Ifrane, considered the Switzerland of Morocco, to take in its majesty and take some incredible shots. You will then proceed to Azrou to visit the monkeys in the cedar forest.

After that, you will continue your 2 Days Fes Desert Trip to Midelt, known as the capital of Apples, where we will have lunch. We will travel across the TIZI N TALGHAMT pass in the afternoon to reach Errachidia while taking in the scenery of the Ziz gorges. You'll eventually pause for a spectacular view of the Ziz valley.

Afterwards, we'll go through Aoufous and Erfoud (the latter is well-known for its fossils and dates), on the way to the Erg Chebbi Dunes, you may decide to stop by a nearby workshop that produces fossil crafts.

You will next proceed to the fascinating Merzouga Dunes, which are located in Erg Chebbi.  Arriving at the hotel and being ready for an hour and a half camel trek to take in the sunset.

You will go to the camp crossing via Erg Chebbi dunes, the highest in Africa. Enjoy a tasty dinner. After dinner, you will gather around the fire enjoying and listening to music presented by locals.

Later, you can climb to some of the nearby dunes to watch a starry sky and appreciate the peace and the calm of the Sahara Desert.

Finally, you will spend the night in the camp in a luxurious . 

Day 2: Merzouga Camel ride – Ziz Valley – Medilt – Fes

On the second day of this 2-day desert trip from Fes to Merzouga, we advise you to get up early in order to witness the sunrise from the top of the Erg Chebbi sand dunes.

You will take a shower and eat a delicious Berber breakfast in the Merzouga desert camp. You will then ride your camels back to the village, where you will meet your driver.

We will depart from Merzouga and head towards Fes via the High Atlas mountains . We'll drive via Rissani, Erfoud, Errachidia, and Midelt on the road.

Before reaching Fes, we'll stop for lunch and take pictures of wild monkeys in the Azrou Cedar forest. When we arrive in Fes, we will transfer to your accommodation and conclude our 2 Days tour from Fes to Merzouga.
