2 days 1 night from Marrakech to Zagora Overview 

Experience the mesmerizing landscapes of Morocco on this 2-day adventure from Marrakech to Zagora. Day 1 takes you through the High Atlas Mountains, stopping at Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Journey through the Draa Valley, and arrive in Zagora for a camel trek into the Sahara Desert. Enjoy a traditional tagine dinner and Berber music under the stars in a nomad tent. Day 2 begins with a sunrise over the dunes before returning to Marrakech via the Draa Valley and Ouarzazate. Don't miss the chance to explore the beauty of Erg Chebbi.

 

2 days 1 night from Marrakech to Zagora itinerary 

 

Day 1 : Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Agdz – Zagora

 

We will depart from Marrakech to cross the Tichka pass in the High Atlas Mountains We will stop to visit the argon oil cooperative before continuing to UNESCO World Heritage site, Ait Ben Haddou. After lunch at a local restaurant, we will pass by the Anti Atlas mountains, the Berber villages of Agdez and the amazing Draa Valley with its valleys of palm trees. We will arrive early evening in Zagora to prepare for departure on the camel into the desert to see the sunset on top of the dunes. We will have a traditional tagine dinner, drink delicious mint tea and listen to traditional berber music while watching the stars in the amazing Sahara desert. We will spend the night in a traditional nomad tent.

 

 Day 2 : Zagora – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

 

We will rise early to see the spectacle of the sunrise over the dunes of the Sahara before making our way back to Zagora hotel for breakfast and a shower. We will return via the Draa Valley to Ouarzazate to visit the Taourirt Kasbah and have lunch at a local restaurant before returning to Marrakech in the late afternoon. Erg Chebbi
